It has been quite a while since I have written anything—my fault for slacking off as of late. Here is the progress I have made so far:
Credit Card Balance : $2500
Mom Debt Balance : $1600
I decided to focus on finishing up paying my credit card balance for now to avoid the interest ($47 last month!). I will begin to pay more aggressively over the upcoming months. If I pay about $1000 per month, I can be rid of this debt by March, but April would be more realistic. My Christmas shopping is mainly done, with the exception of a few items I would like to get for my boyfriend (some warm-weather gear, a frying pan—basic stuff), and I would like to get something for my best friend as well (although she insisted that I don’t get her anything). In December, right after Christmas, my best friend will be visiting me, and we will be going to NYC for some shopping and touristy stuff… so, I think I will either pay for activities while we’re there and/or get her something while we’re out shopping.
